for the arrival of

The Freedom Plane

July 6, 2026

A National Archives traveling exhibition bringing nine original Founding-era documents to eight U.S. cities in commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary in 2026. 

 

Inspired by the Bicentennial Freedom Train, the Freedom Plane National Tour will make documents fundamental to America’s founding accessible to Americans across the country.

 

The documents will be on display to the public, free of charge, at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation July 9-26, 2026.

*Ceremony attendance is by invitation only.

An intergenerational exploration of music, light, movement, and collective imagination, audiences will join characters fragile, fin, and hoof as they find each other and create a new community. huddle is presented as a part of the Early Childhood Concerts series by the Carnegie Hall, Resnick Education Wing. This series encourages families, especially those with young children, to attend.
